This is a witty and fun romp for two people trying to deny their attractions and feelings. The characters are sometimes less than the lady and gentleman that they should be. Regency characters would never take off without a lady's maid. It's a good thing these two love each other, because when they get back to London they will be the scandal of the season.
This is six fun stories about falling in love and protecting animals. The characters are well developed and each romance comes with some danger. Find out about all the bad guys trying to destroy our national treasures, our beautiful wild animals.
This is a soft love story between two gentle souls. The aspect of a grasping woman and the betrayal of lies is harmful to someone like Theodosia. Henry is going to have to be brave and put on his Marquess mantle if wants to marry Theodosia, and Theodosia will find her voice. Kindness and gentleness is one thing, but sometimes we have to find our inner strength to gain the one thing that matters most, love.
This story falls short of expectations and Jacob is not who the ton purports him to be. The story is okay and could have had better possibilities. The main characters are well written, but the supporting characters are stereotypical. The story is enjoyable, but not page-turning.
This is a strange story with a difficult back story. Needless to say, Kate has forgotten who Simon was to her. Kate is in town as a mail order bride. Simon wants Kate to remember but instead builds the relationship from scratch. The story is stilted in some sections, especially when it comes to the memory recall and the back story. Otherwise, the story and relationship between these two is wonderful.
This story addresses the lower section of the ton. Those that skate just below Polite Society. The ones who are blamed for their parents sins. Such is the fate of Fitswallan and Lavania. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, as these two find their way towards each other.
