The concept for this story is well developed. There are several awkward scenes between the main characters that shouldn’t have been there because of them growing up together and all the letter writing as adults should have made things easier between these two. I have friends like this and even after years apart we fall into an easy camaraderie. Here is where the author failed. If one suspects the other of something wrong, friends immediately confront one another. Otherwise the story is jam-packed full of action with all the action of the Wild West in Arizona. I just wish the relationship wasn’t so easily fractured by a letter.
