Although this book has 9 stories in it, I am reviewing "The Lord's Secret Valentine. I have read "Loving the Bitter Baron" and highly recommend it.
This is a delightful story about a woman who is tired of the London scene and men who court her, but she finds no attraction in. Her father wants her to secure her future, but she is a bluestocking and cannot fathom a man who cannot value her abilities. Back home, she meets two men, Richard and Mr. Wadeson. Her father favors Mr. Wadeson, but Harriet's heart falls for Richard. You'll like Harriet and will love the way that Richard treats her, and you'll despise Mr. Wadeson, because what's there not to despise when the man won't converse with you, but talks at you like a child and will only converse with your father.
The Holiday season is almost here. I read mostly Advanced Reader Copies and all reviews are my own opinion. Feel free to contact me if you have a questions or want me to read one of your books. Please post to my blog and/or subscribe. I love hearing from you! Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus come! May God bless and keep you this year!
