This story is a fun ride with cardsharp Fanny and Tinstar Cord. Fanny is fun and witty. Cord is seriously attracted to Fanny and she doesn't help the matter, because she uses it to escape Cord. How Cord manipulates the law to get Fanny off; takes away from the story somewhat. If Cord wants to keep Fanny, he's going to have to choose his Tin Star or Fanny. I loved the train ride and all the tricks Fanny pulls. Cord has to use all his wits to keep up with her. I liked the ride, but thought the ending could have been better.
