I'm surprised that the author used a Christian man for the main character. I question a Christian man putting himself in that situation. The terror that this woman has been through and has yet to go through is terrible, but Liam puts himself out their for Frederica. His love is true, but it sets himself up for scandal. I thank God that Frederica's brother is the one who sees reason through all this. The characters are lovable. I enjoyed the story and plot is well-written, but veers off near the end to be a true Regency romance.
