He courts her a month and marries her only to close himself from her, because her land is what he wanted. Damon redeems himself, because he finally opens up to Bella and professes how he feels and what he wants to happen to the land with Reese receiving his inheritance at eighteen. This story has a dramatic climax and a wonderful ending. This is a story of forgiveness, and redemption.
