Trusting his Heart (Bad Boys and Good Men Book 1) by Kenna Shaw Reed
This story is about an older couple. Both have experienced loss of a spouse to cancer, they call it the dragon. This story broke my heart in places, because he couldn't see past his pain when he found out he had cancer. This story is well written and the plot is good. I love how the author writes from a rude meeting to develop a friendship over twenty-four hours, then meeting weeks later at a charity event. I liked Bec, she knew what she wanted and what love truly means. The Professor knew what love was but didn't want Bec to suffer. The true suffering began when he shut Bec out of his life.
