Like Louisa and Percy, I married my best friend. The trouble with friendship is we often take each other for granted. It seems that Louisa attracts the wrong kind of men and Percy stands guard at the gate. Personally, I can't imagine any woman throwing a Duke over for more money, that was out there on the author's part. I would have believed it more, if Nora dumped Percy for true love. I like Percy, and Louisa I just wanted to spit on. She was so blinded by children's word and promise, she couldn't see what was right in front of her. The cast of characters were really well developed in this story and we see the personality of each of them shine through.
