This is an enchanting telling of how true love grows. Lady Margaret is only sixteen and is betrothed to Viscount Rolantry. She meets the Duke of Witherton at her coming out ball. He stirs desires in heart that the Viscount doesn't. Who she chooses and why becomes the best decision of her life. It leads her on the path to God's love, and helps her understand her father's decisions. Lady Margaret is naive, but compelling. Henry is loveable, but we cannot understand his reasons after all that has passed between Margaret and him. This story is well written and love is the theme throughout this story. Lady Margaret and Henry both learn what true love is and it changes their relationship and their concept of the world they are living in.
