The Commander's Captive (Keepers of Xereill #2) by Alix Nichols

I don't know why I'm still reading this series. This book is better than the first book, and the government is finally seeing their own stupidity, but the villain of this piece defies Lord Boggond and what the author does to the heroes and heroines defies reason. Especially, when Nyssa gives in to her teenage crush, and defies her own morals and sense of right and wrong. The problem with this series is there is no understanding of the type of world we are on, and I grab some better bits with this story. Apparently, there was some nuclear war on Eia, and people live in what's called Habitable Areas, and the government is a waste of time, because he making alliances that will have other planets ruling this one when he is done.
