The characters and storytelling are absolutely wonderful. I find Davidh a little naive for a warrior. It's obvious from the very beginning of this story who the traitor is and how he couldn't see how he was set up every step of the way. Parties given by his friend where his ex-fiance shows up and tries to get him back in front of Loraine. Even Lorraine who should be somewhat naive sees the sinister side of his friend; otherwise the story holds up on its merits.
This is a heartwarming story and typical of issues men have dealing with commitment. What if you meet the woman who makes you believe different? This story brings all that to light. Our plans are not God plans, and God guides Jarret's life and brings to light the joy of a true marriage. This christian romance shows us the joy that can be had if we listen to God, and follow His plan for our life.
