This is one of Sarah Stones better books. I enjoyed the relationship between Kergot and Penelope. Some of the story got off track, but eventually brought itself back around. The climax of how Penelope got her flight back was a little disappointing. As dragon shifter seem to live several lifetimes. This book was long on their life together. Every now and then it would get back to the curse, but nothing was really resolved. I'll let you read the miracle that brought back Penelope's flight. I think as it was the climax of the book, it could have been done in a grander manner. After all, that was what we were waiting for since the beginning of the book.
