Her Father's Protector: A Highlander Tale (Highland Valiance Series Book 3) by Fiona McKellar

This is a good love story with a heart wrenching twist, but this kind of love is fated. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the conclusion. It was confusing and the author should possibly re-write it.
