All's Fair in Love and Debauchery (The Inheritance Clause Book 4) by Samantha Holt

To be honest, the man on this cover looks like a villain, but that has nothing to do with how well this series is written. We finish this one off with the Marquess's task and all he has to do is stay in his ancestral home for two months. Unfortunately, in the six years he's been away, he has forgotten about his ward, Lucy. The Marquess tries to fight his attraction for her, but she is nothing like his wife and everything that he could want in the mistress of the manor and for himself. The climax in this book is surprising and makes you wonder why we are so afraid of expressing our true feelings, instead of going off on a tangent.
