Love is Kind: Mail Order Bride by Ruby Hill

This a very well written mail-order bride story. Alice travels to the west to find her mail-order husband is unloving, uses her for his own purposes and doesn't allow her to go to town without him. When her husband dies, she is accepted in town and they do everything to help the young pregnant widow. Alice learns that love is kind. This is a story of forgiveness and you will not be let down.
