When I started reading this story, I could have thought I read it before. The story itself is filled with intrigue, mystery and a handsome Marquess who doesn't know when to stop. It's why he gets caught up in Lavinia life. I knew who the bad guy was in this story. The Lord everyone focuses on is a villain, but he is not the truly despicable one in this story. He is smart, but when he believes he has won; he shows his hand. Pride and vanity is the villain's downfall every time. The story and plot end in an exciting climax.
