Eliza is the heroine of this story. She is a woman who know how to do things. She has her own weaknesses but she tries to overcome the night terrors, by helping those in the village during the night. Our hero is trying to overcome the horrors of what his father has done and seeks to redeem his family's honor by returning what he can to the families that his father practically destroyed. After a harrowing experience, and be saved by a handsome man, Eliza decides to help people during the day. Eliza goes to work at Rosenhill for the Duke's brother and sister. After this, the story takes a turn toward the mystery of an assassin trying to kill Arthur, and what the death of Eliza parents had to do with the old Duke. This story is action-packed, and very romantic. Eliza is fearless and Arthur is determined to find the person who is trying to kill him and restore honor to the Huntley name. All the characters in this story are well-developed and the story's takes a strange, but exciting turn.
