Cookies with a Side of Danger A Danger in Treasure Cove Cozy Mystery By: Meredith Potts Narrated by: Lili Dubuque
I love Sabrina Carlson and her instincts. The reader uses varying voices
and I get a kick when she does Dave's voice. It's like listening to
someone trying to imitate a stern cop. Sabrina is responsible in her
investigations and does not do stupid things, like other cozy mysteries.
There a twist and a bunch of stupid suspects. The problem here is
everyone of their suspects have no alibi and all of their suspects are
not cooperative. Personally, if I was Dave, as soon as someone got
belligerent or hostile, I would be dragging them down to the station for
hours of intensive questioning. The one thing I do not like about Dave
is his way of questioning a suspect. It makes a person defensive rather
than helpful. Sabrina is lovable and personable. Her coffee shop is the
center of town news.
