A Love Beyond Lies by Lilah Rivers

This story has a few flaws about British behavior. This is a young naive girl who has been terrorized by a powerful man. Her parents seek her a wealthy husband and are blind to his charm and dreams for their daughter. Amos is almost too good to be true. He's the dream man of every Christian woman. Even when Amos is raked with guilt, he tries to make his lies the truth. In my opinion, it's better to ask for forgiveness, then try and make it right. Doing things behind people's back has a way of backfiring, read story. The Duke, the villain of this piece, is way too arrogant and just a little stupid. If Amos really wanted to play his cards right, he should have brought the sheriff with him after he was hit. All in all it had its exciting moments, but both characters didn't have that spark.
