Tamed by a Passionate Lady by Henrietta Harding

James Townshend is one of the most selfish and blind man I have read about. I have no comprehension of why James even married her, when he was so into his broken heart to see how he was hurting everyone around him. He let his so called friend Rueben hound his wife. He refused his wife, even though he was desirous of her. All because he kept seeing two blue eyes that betrayed him. She didn't die, or was forced to marry a Duke. She decided a Duke as a husband would be better than a wealthy tradesman. He couldn't see the forest for the trees all carried his lost love. Waaaaaaaa! The worst part was the man decided it didn't matter who he was married to, but chose Adaline because of some betrothal contract made up by two mothers that were friends and thought how grand it would be if their children got married. The worst part was he denied his wife children which at least she would have someone to love & love her back. SELFISH. The good part of this story is that it takes bashing his head in for him to finally see Adaline. Other than my retort on the so called hero of this story, the plot, storyline and Adaline were excellent.
