This story has some funny scenes, but Marion is concerned that someone is trying to harm Alexander. Although, she shuns the idea of being betrothed to him, her heart doesn't want him to come to harm. There is no great mystery for the reader, because we know who the villain is, but these two become emotionally involved looking into the details of this issue. It is well written and the plot well thought out. The characters are well written, but something falls short in the climax of the story.
