A Muse for the Lonely Marquess: A Clean & Sweet Regency Historical Romance Novel by Abby Ayles

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
This story is well-written with a nice plot. The problem is the love story between the Marquess and the bookseller. Meredith is young, impetuous and naive when it comes to trusting others. She ends up in a complete mess with the responsibility of the book shop. The way that the Marquess and Meredith dealt with the common trash that ripped them off is so left wing in it's social values that I wanted to rip the book up, but it is on Kindle, so I am reduced to deleting it. The Marquess would never marry a bookseller or get his father to approve. This book is so far out of the reality of Regency England. I am classifying it as a fairy tale for left wing socialists.
