Second Chance Ranch (Three Rivers Ranch #1) by Liz Isaacson

This story started out stilted, but with Kelly coming back to the ranch to do the books. She was the one who spurned him in high school. It felt right that it was stilted. The story eases into a different kind of relationship between Squire and Kelly. It grows beyond friendship to romance and a new understanding. There are times I feel sorry for Squire, but the next thing I know, he does something absolutely male stupid. It's one of my favorites in this series.
