Fortune's Son (The Tasmanian Tales #1) by Jennifer Scoullar

I don't know what to feel or how I should feel about this book. In so many ways, this book is morally wrong. Neither main male character is morally good. Both do what they think they have to, to get the girl. No one considers her feelings, only what is best for her and leaving her unhappy. It is a tale of tragedy and the lack of our compassion as human beings. The author tried to write a happy ending, but failed miserably. The story is well written, and will touch your emotions on many levels. I just did not like it.
