Highlander's Love in Captivity: A Scottish Historical Romance Novel by Lydia Kendall

I loved this story. It is about a woman who seeks to find a husband who loves her, not someone her uncle and father deem suitable. Jane is captured by a highlander who seeks revenge on her Uncle. Jane finds a freedom in Scotland making her wanting to never return to England. Bhaltair, her abductor, finds everything he wants in Jane, but is troubled his clan won't accept her, and that her uncle is their enemy. This story is well-written and emotionally deep at several points in the story. Each character has a life of their own and despite their contribution to the story, each is memorable.
