Patiently Charmed: Doctor Jamison and Mary's Story: Historical Medical Romance Hero Hearts (Bareglen Creek) by Kate Cambridge

Rating:  ⭐⭐⭐
Although I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in the series, this story fell a little short of the two. It seemed the author worked too hard to get this couple to fall in love. It also seemed that this story worked to hard in getting the point of submission of a woman to a man across. A man doesn't need to suppress his dominance on a woman, especially one he claims to love. If two Godly people love each other, the natural order of husband and wife will take place. The story is upsetting on so many levels, including the reveal of the serial killer. As I read this story, I kept thinking of all the ways I wanted to torture Dr. Lee Jamison and bring him to his knees. I believe arrogant men need to be brought to their knees before they can be humble before God, and be a true man of God.
