This story starts out sad with a woman desperate for her family. She marries the mayor's son, and things start to get strange. This story has some very dark moments, but the action will keep you interested in what the mayor is doing and why all the ranches in the area are in desperate straits. The best part is when love gives the mayor's son a backbone.
