This is a quaint little who-dun-it with a reputation and love at risk. Mr. Frierson must find out who is sullying his name, and attempting to make him out a thief. His romantic interest in Darcy's daughter, Sophia, is at risk. She believes him and wants to help him, but cannot have an association with him, if he is branded a thief. The story is fun and figuring the thief out was easy. Things are not always what they seem, especially those closest to us.
