A Perfect Match for Millie (Mail Order Bride: Western Romance) by Callie Gardner

This story is about a woman who wants freedom to choose for herself. So she runs away from home across the country to California, and telegrams two men looking for a wife in the mail order ads, and are living in the same town. Millie tries to be careful, but appearances are deceiving. I think Millie is young and stupid, but got very lucky. Who knows what she could have found in the West, if she hadn't been willing to change how she had been living in Virginia. The story is well written, but has a major flaw. Millie's personality changes when she arrives in California, and making two gentleman think their ads have been answered and then not contacting them for months was ridiculous. What kind of person does that? She would have deserved for the doctor to drop her after making him fall in love with her, and then telling him that stupid truth.
