Second-Chance Bride (Dakota Brides Book 3) by Linda Ford

This is a well written western story. This is about a young woman who was left behind in Norway by her husband to travel to America and work a homestead. Her husband died two years later in America and Freyda decides to come to America to build the homestead.  Her next door neighbor has two little boys who run off every housekeeper or they get fired for being cruel to the boys. Freyda works out a deal where she can get her land plowed if she watches the boys. The two work close together but are wary of the feelings they develop for each other. I enjoyed the story to the very end.
