Lady Vivian (Almack's Assembly Rooms Book 1) by Agnes Forest
This story is about a free spirited woman being stifled by her father and his approved suitor, Lord Philip. I like the way the author describes the little things that annoy Lady Vivian about Lord Philip. It made me think about the things that use to annoy be about men I dated before I met my husband. Lieutenant Sawyer is a man any woman could fall in love with, but when his eyes meet Vivian's he knows he found an adventurous woman and a free spirit. The fact that all of this takes place around Almack's makes this a fun story. Even the side characters are hysterical, and I can't believe that one of the side characters is married. Christian Sherbert by the description of him is a bouncing ball busybody. With his personality, who would marry him? Although I feel that Calvin Cain should get his comeuppance in this series. May he fall hard.
