Montana Untamed (Bear Grass Springs, Book One): Bear Grass Springs, Book One (Bear Grass Springs #1) by Ramona Flightner
I became emotionally involved with these characters, especially Annabelle. This story is a real heart breaker and I understood why Annabelle had a hard time forgiving him. His words to her when she told them about their expecting child were unforgivable. What followed was just his guilt for forsaking her and the child. Even though Annabelle has forgiven Cailean for the evil he purported on his own wife. This reader does not forgive him. I don't believe the author expressed Cailean regret enough for Annabelle to forgive him. Grace is Annabelle's spirit and she is a woman to admire. The hero of this story is no hero at all and ought to fall on his knees and thank God above that a woman such as Annabelle loves him.
