Promise of Home (Pioneer Romance #1) by Grace Fisher

This story is well-written and inspiring. This book is about Regan, her husband Carrick is actually a side character. This story had so much promise, until the end of the book. I'll say I was disappointed in the author. I understand that this book is the first in a series, but I actually have no intent to go on.
