A Governess for the Brooding Duke by Bridget Barton

Rating:  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a delightful tale about a woman who loses everything and becomes a governess to a duke and his two unwanted wards. This tale can become dark at times, and is mostly told from Georgette's point of view. The Duke is very unlikable at first til we understand the pain that he lives in. Georgette has a heart of gold and she is a turn the other cheek kind of person. Love understands and is patient and with time it can heal deep seated pain.
