The age old will decree's son must marry to inherit. At times the book is funny, but seriously this charade is dangerous. I understand the woman was homeless, but to lie about her son to get the job, what did she expect would happen. Marrying someone for money is a dangerous game and someone is always going to get hurt. Although well written, the plot itself is dangerous and I almost didn't finish reading it.
