A Love Worth Saving: A Historical Regency Clean Sweet Romance Novel by Fanny Finch

I actually enjoyed this story more than I did Jane Austen's "Persuasion". The characters are deeply and emotionally involved and the pain experienced by their past keeps coming back to haunt them. The truth is that neither of these characters can move on with their lives until they can get past the pain and love they still feel for one another. I liked Georgianna, but Captain Trentworth left me cold at points in the story. His personality is not one I can love, but the character was written well with that cold streak a man has when he has walled up his heart.
