Ciaran's Bond: A Scottish Time Travel Romance (Highlander Fate Book 3) by Stella Knight

I enjoyed the walk back in time, but after three books I'm still confused as how this time travel thing works. Also I couldn't believe Ciaran's brother would wait 4 weeks before sending Ciaran to the gallows. Although the rescue was great, it really lacked the in depth writing one would expect for such a rescue. At points the book left me flat, but then would up lift me to continue reading.
