The Highlander's Enigmatic Bride: A Scottish Historical Romance Novel by Lydia Kendall

The idea for this story is really hoping that the deep emotionally characters will compensate for the inanity of the plot. I don't care how well you write twists and turns only bad things can happen when people are this hate driven. The stupidity of an English girl running off to Scotland to avenge her brother is inanity in itself. She had no weapon training and the way she got caught and thought she could stab him with a knife made me laugh. Personally, when Edan found out the truth, he should have shaved her head and sent her back to her father in shame. We assume love can conquer all, but betrayal to family and clan is the ultimate sin to a Scotsman.
